ICDDRB-Cholera Hospital, Mohakhali, Dhaka.

ICDRB started its journey in 1960 with foreign help. Here the free cholera and diarrhea diseases are treated and researched. A total of 88 doctors are working here to see the patient. In addition to medical services, there are own diagnostic centers and blood banks for proper diagnosis of the disease. ICDRB does not have any type of external service and operation system. There is no cabin here. The seat / bed number is not specific. The number of seats / beds on the number of patients depends.

Search Desk and various aspects of patient admission

Located alongside the emergency department and search desk at ICDRB. Its distance from the main gate is 80 yards. For admission of patients, first to go to the emergency department. The emergency department doctor examines the patient, if he sees only the medicine, then the patient is not admitted. When the condition of the patient is worse, he is admitted directly. However, no money is paid for this. Apart from this, patients who are included during the treatment are given free, eatable, and totally free of medication.

Specialty

There is 1 person in foreign-assisted ICDDRB: 1 Attendent. A monthly magazine called "Health Message" is published from this institution. ICDDRB employees have day-care centers for the upliftment of children between 1 and 5 years.

Blood Bank

Cholera and diarrhea develop anemia. Since its inception, ICDDRB has its own self-contained own blood bank. Blood bank is located on the second floor of the front of the left side of the 20 yards front entrance door. Blood is supplied to patients only for their patients.

Ambulance service varies

In patients with cholera and diarrhea, their own ambulance is used to bring kidney, heart, diabetes or any other treatment to another hospital. These ambulances are not used to bring any patients from outside. ICDDRB has its own 8 ambulances.

• Cholera and diarrhea patients usually do not die now. Even after the death, there are six bodies to keep the body here. But for a short time
• The hospital compound has its own medical store. It is open 24 hours.
• Fire-fighting systems and security systems are strong enough because the hospital is of international standards. Fire extinguishers are once a year.
• There is also a provision to make sure that there is a complaint in the service of the organization or for any other reason. There is a complaint center next to the main door.
