Medical admission test is on 6th October,Dentale on 10th November

Medical colleges in the country will be examined for admission in the students of the academic year 2017-2018 on October 6. And admission tests for dental colleges will be held on November 10. The decision was taken at a meeting of the students of Medical and Dental Colleges in the hall of health and family welfare ministry in the Secretariat. Health Minister Mohammad Nasim presided over the meeting. He ordered that all coaching centers should be closed from September 1 before the admission test.

At this time, the minister requested the concerned people to take help of law enforcing agencies to stop the coaching center. The minister said some of the identified coaching centers made false question papers during the admission test and cheated the people with confused and innocent parents. To prevent this cycle, the coaching center should be closed during the examination. Nasim said that the government is in a position to fix the quality of medical education, he said, the government continued the campaign to shut down non-governmental and non-government medical colleges. Likewise, the government will remain in a strict position even after the issue of leaked question or fake question distribution. The meeting was also attended by Secretary of Health Education and Family Planning Division. Sirajul Islam, BSMUU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kamrul Hasan Khan, Chittagong Medical University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ismail Khan, Director General of Health Department, Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, columnist Syed Abul Maksud, BMA president Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, President of Independence Medical Council Professor Dr. Iqbal Arslan, BMA Secretary General Ietsamul Haque Dulal, Bangladesh Private Medical College Association president Mokbul Hossain and senior officials of the ministry and department were also present. It is to be mentioned that in last one year, 126 medical and dental colleges of Bangladesh were admitted to the government through a one-hour examination of the MKSU system. As per the statistics of 2016, the number of seats in 31 government colleges in 3162 On the other hand, 53,55 seats for 64 private medical colleges. There are 532 seats in the government's nine dental colleges. There are 24 private dental colleges with 1,000 seats.
